Ocean View and Millville sit just a few miles inland from Bethany Beach, and the whole Route 26 corridor shares the same problem: coastal air that never quite lets exteriors dry out. Salt haze drifts in from the ocean, humidity rolls off the Indian River Bay and the area's ponds and wetlands, and the result is algae and mildew that show up as green streaks and black spotting on siding.
