Seaford grew up on the Nanticoke River, and it shows. The town DuPont made famous as the “Nylon Capital of the World” built whole neighborhoods during those plant years, and today those streets are lined with mature oaks and maples shading lawns that have been mowed by two or three generations of the same families.
